The Process

It’s simple and efficient. You can treat this Notion board as your hub of communication with me. You can add unlimited requests to the backlog here. As requests come in and you prioritize them, I will work on them one at a time, starting with either the highest priority or oldest request.

Here’s a simple checklist for adding your first request/task:

• [ ] Log into this Notion board
• [ ] Click down arrow next to “New” on the upper-right side of the board
• [ ] Select the “+ New Request” default template and the request & brief will be automatically built for you
• [ ] Add in your request’s title (usually best to be descriptive and say exactly what you need done)
• [ ] Fill out the brief included in the template

Tips & Best Practice

You can be as brief or verbose as you’d like in requests, so long as you give enough info to me to fulfill on your request.

If you request copy for a headline, for example, please include any preferences you have for tone, length, format. If you have no preferences, I will send you variants and we can refine from there.

Here are some tips to follow in your request briefs:

• [ ] Make sure that each request is clear. Provide as much detail as possible.
• [ ] If you have any questions about what you’re requesting, add questions and notes right inside the request card! You can tag me just like a Google Doc here and I will respond.
• [ ] Make the request a singular task or focus whenever possible (a request for a full landing page’s copy all at once will get broken up into multiple tasks anyway, so splitting it up in your request board saves us time on starting the project).
• [ ] Clearly communicate your priorities so I can adjust to what you need.

Post-Request

Once you’ve submitted your request, I will communicate if I have any follow-up questions. I will then proceed to work on tasks in a 1-by-1 order, according to priority.

Most requests will receive multiple variants (e.g. a request for a new H1 for your landing page will likely get you 10+ variants to choose from).

Turnaround Times
